News 10 Feb 2011 - 19 Feb 2011Quilt News This week, Katherine has completed Jayden's quilt and it has been delivered! Thank you to all who contributed to the Farm theme. We are waiting on a photo of Jayden with his quilt, so we hope to show you that next week. Gaynor has now completed Eleanor G's quilt! It is now ready to pack up and send off, so we should have news on its receipt by next week! Quilts opened/closed Brooke H's quilt was closed. (Princess theme) *** 1000 squares! *** This week we passed the milestone of 1000 squares stitched for LoveQuiltsUK! This is a fantastic achievement in less than 3 years, congratulations to everyone and thank you for your tremendous support! Squares received this week We have received 14 squares this week! News 05 Feb 2011 - 10 Feb 2011Quilt News This week, Katherine has been working on Jayden's quilt. She has nearly finished, just the binding to go! Gaynor has been working on Eleanor's quilt. She has just finished the quilting part, but is away this weekend so work on the quilt will continue next week! Square News We have received 7 squares this week! We thought it might be interesting for you to see how your squares become a quilt, so when Gaynor made Lennon Georgie's quilt in January 2011, she took lots of photos of the process. She was slightly delayed as we waited over 3 weeks for the US Post Office to get their act together, but the lost square finally arrived, so the quilt is now underway! Gaynor has just started working on Eleanor G's quilt (shopping for fabric and washing the squares) It might take a little while as Gaynor has a lot of marking to do for work this month!
