Hello everyone! Hope those of you in the UK have been enjoying the nice weather we've been having lately, although it is raining again today in Wales!

Gaynor has been on holiday to Jersey for a few days which was a very nice place. We have never done a quilt for anyone on Jersey, although we have done two for Guernsey over the years.

Kat is working even longer hours at the moment (15-16 hour days) so we do apologise for the delays in uploading squares to the website, please bear with us.

Backfilled quilts
An extra thank you to the quilters who have taken on extra quilts (quilts made with squares from our Any Child Stash only, rather than through specific signups). We have certainly chipped away at our Any Child Square stash lately.


Team Superhero
We would like to thank everyone who has answered the call for Superhero squares lately - we have 29 requests for Superheroes from children in our lottery system currently. Since there are so many Superhero movies scheduled to be released in the next few years, there is no end in sight for demand for these squares!

We have permission to chart the Marvel characters from the copyright holder, and we'd like to thank Beth and Gemma for doing some great Superhero patterns, with some brand new ones over the last 2-3 weeks. These are posted in the Files section of our Facebook group where it is slightly more private (as these patterns are for LQ use only).

If you are not on Facebook, we are happy to email you the patterns to use for LQ. Please contact us on contact@lovequiltsuk.com . Keep the superheroes coming - and you are all superheroes for stitching them! :)

Prize Draw
One of our stitchers, Cath Willey, is running a prize draw from now until August. Anyone sending in a high priority square (Princesses, Angels/Fairies, Space, Superheroes and Trains) between now and 14th August will be entered into a prize draw. The prize will be some DMC threads, a frame cover (if you use a frame) and probably some other stitching goodies.
