Eleanor H's quilt    (Quilt Completed)

Eleanor received her quilt on Monday but had a little accident at school, hence the plaster. Tonight we had the grand unveiling and she has the biggest smile, she won't let go of the card and is rocking with excitement. The size of the quilt is amazing, my husband thought it had been made professionally (they never listen do they), the quality of the stitching flawless. This is a gift we will treasure forever, we are so grateful to all the selfless people who dedicated their time to make something so beautiful for a family they don't even know. The quilt is going into school tomorrow to show the teacher and will accompany Eleanor to respite this weekend at Zoe's Place, Liverpool. Everyone will love it and hopefully we can help spread the word of all the wonderful work you do for precious children. Thank you xxx

Biography

Eleanor was born full term but had to be undergo extensive resuscitation at birth. Her body and brain were starved of oxygen which has resulted in cerebral palsy. She has low tone in her muscles and has undergone several operations on her stomach,bowel and neck to improve her quality of life.
