Well my little princess Isla received her special quilt yesterday. It is absolutely amazing! And came with a cute little handmade card. She's been really ill this week and it was lovely to see her face when we opened it, she said "Oh wow!" I knew she would like it but she absolutely loves it. She tries carrying it with her and she has named it "my mouse manket" it's so cute! thank you all soooo much it truly is beautiful what you guys do for these children and I'm so thankful that my child has been lucky enough to receive such an amazing gift which will see her through a lot of tough times. Xxxx

Biography

Isla was born by an emergency c-section. She was the perfect new born she was a good weight and never cried. The first sign that something was wrong was that after every feed she would poo and the poo was very loose and oily , it smelt so bad I can't even compare it to anything!

When Isla was 4 weeks old she was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis from the result on her heal prick test. After diagnosis she had to go through sweat tests and various blood tests which were horrendous as they could never seen to get enough blood. Isla was then put on numerous medication which she will be on for the rest of her life. Cystic fibrosis is a life limiting / terminal illness to which there is no cure.
