Biography

Daisy is a very happy, smiley little girl who enjoys as much as she can. She loves attention noise and lights. She never met any milestones and this is something we do not follow.

Daisy was born full term but immediately struggled at birth, she started fitting immeadiately when in intensive care and the fits were never controlled until recently.
Daisy stayed in high dependency for 2 months and then was transferred to a more specialist unit at a larger hospital for a further 1 month. We came home scared and struggling with reflux (had an operation to rectify), uncontrolled epilepsy and then infinite spasms (which were controlled later with steroids).

When Daisy was a year old the family unit broke down and we had to move to an adapted home so there was lots of changes.

Daisy attends a special needs school and also a respite centre monthly.

Daisy has struggled eating and recently had a peg fitted to help her taking mediations, food and more fluid. As usual Daisy came through the procedure amazing and is now gaining weight.

Daisys smile lights up and makes all that meet her smile.
