Thank you

This has arrived this afternoon. It came at the perfect time. Cora is currently very sick at home, and was so sick on Monday past, we thought we were going to lose her...

Yet she is fighting strong and hard and coming slowly out the other side. But she is currently confined to the bed and this quilt will bring her soo much comfort, esp at the minute.

We cannot thank each stitcher, quilter and anyone else involved with making it. The quilt is absolutely stunning, so special and unique. I'm speechless as to how perfect it really is. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, it's perfect..

Biography

Cora was born at 28 weeks and is my only child. She will never have another sibling due to my own medical needs. She was born with severe complex problems including uncontrollable epilepsy. We were originally told she would make it to 10 years or so. Unfortunately she went into hospital for tests and this revealed something we weren't expecting, she is now suffering from brain failure, and we have been told she might not see this year out. This has broken my heart, yet through it all my daughter smiles and giggles. She can't walk, talk, hold her head, sit or communicate, yet she is one happy little girl.

She has spent a lot of her short life either in hospital, or confined to a bed at home due to ill health. She needs 24 hour supervision, at night Cora tends to drop temperature and heart rate amongst other things.

Yet one thing remains, I'm so proud to be her mummy.
