Both of our boys quilts have arrived .....they are stunning! We would like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who made Ron’s and to everyone who is involved in Love Quilts! Ron loves hiding/snuggling/cuddling with his quilt, he keeps stroking it and saying “it’s got my name on” . There are lots of people in this world who talk about doing something nice for others with nothing in return ...you are the people who do it....you are the people who make this world a nicer place. Ron’s quilt will be treasured by all of us and will be a part of making lots of wonderful memories together, love to all from a very happy Mummy xx

Biography

Ron is an amazing Little Einstein who astounds everyone with his achievements every day. He was born with only a third of his brain working which has affected all of his development, movement and health. He can have periods of medical crisis when he has frequent complex seizures (often lasting up to 100 minutes) resulting in very poor health and numerous hospital admissions.

However Ron LOVES life, he is a very fun loving, sociable, mischievous, (and v strong willed and fiercely independent) little boy. He believes in only doing things in life that are fun and he enjoys ....lucky for us that is so many things. He is unable to sit or stand etc unaided but he is the most active child we know. He loves swimming, going on his special bike, playing on swings, playing outside in his gait trainer etc. He wants to try anything in life that is remotely dangerous, fast or fun...skiing, abseiling, roller coasters, carriage riding, zip wiring....the list is endless. His zest and zeal for life is completely contagious, as long as he is with the people he loves and he is laughing and giggling doing something fun he is complete. Our son reminds us every day of what’s important in life!
