Biography

Ellie-Mae was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis when she was born. She was also diagnosed with liver disease stemming from her cystic fibrosis when she was 5 and has been on tube feeds ever since. She was very brave when she had her tube in her nose - she now has a special button in her tummy for her overnight feeds.

Ellie-Mae will be 11 soon and she has spent lot of time in hospital over her life. She has regular IV antibiotics and takes lots of medication and does her physio daily.

Ellie-Mae says she may have cystic fibrosis but it doesnâ€™t have her.
