Biography

Bethany was starved of oxygen during birth, possible having an unseen seizure causing more brain damage. Her diagnosis was confirmed hours after birth.

Bethany struggled to sleep when a baby and couldn't swallow from six months ending up with ng tube, whwelchairbound all her life unable to move all four limbs.

Despite this cognitively Bethany is very able, she understands the spoken language and uses her eyes to communicate very well and has an eye gaze device to talk also!

Bethany has suffered physically with severe reflux and pereitius after a gastrostomy fitting in 2012, her scolosis worsened resulting in full spinal fusion in 2015, also had her hips and feet operated on in 2017.

Despite all this she is maturing into a strong independent lady.
