Biography

Harry was a healthy beautiful baby when he was born. When he was only a couple of months old we noticed some very strange jerking but as first time parents we thought this was just what babies done. When harry was 4 1/2 months old on a very warm day, Harry went into a seizure that lasted 25 minutes, initially this was put down to a febrile seizure. He recovered well and within a couple of weeks the seizures got worse, they were getting longer and more violent. At the age of 8 1/2 months old he was then diagnosed with a Dravet Syndrome. A very rare and catastrophic form of epilepsy,.

When he was 10 months old he went onto have a seizure lasting almost 5 hours and ended up on life support and intensive care. He is on a huge cocktail of drugs to try and keep the seizures at bay. We never thought he would see his 1st birthday. Today due to his condition, he is severe global developmental delays, speech delay, Autism, hyper mobility. The list is endless.

Through all his difficulties he is always smiling. My real life super hero.
