Thank youThank you so much for Samuels lovely quilt. Samuel was very excited when the package arrived and was speechless when he opened it, it’s beautiful and he absolutely loves it.
The time and effort that has gone into it is amazing, the ladies are truly talented and the time you all put in to making children happy is overwhelming, thank you.

BiographyAt my 20 week routine scan it showed a problem with our babies heart. I had further scans and at 24 weeks our world was shattered when our unbourn child was diagnosed with hypoplastic left heart syndrome. We’d never heard of this condition until then and spent the rest of my pregnancy researching it and being monitored every 2 weeks.
Our son was born in December 2013 and had his first open heart surgery at 7 days old. At 10 days old he suffered 2 cardiac arrests within 2 hours of each other and his heart stopped beating for a total of 40 minutes. He was then placed on life support for his body to rest and spent 5 days on this. He made a recovery and we eventually went home when he was 12 weeks old. He had his second open heart operation at 5 months old and was home within a week. He had his 3rd stage operation, his Fontan, at the age of 3. He is now 5 and every year since birth has been in hospital for either major surgery or a procedure. We take each day as it comes and couldn’t be prouder of how far Samuel has come, he’s our hero and inspiration.
