Biography

Lacey became poorly in June 2016, having symptoms of losing weight, eating and drinking a lot more and being very tired. We took her to the drs and were told we were very lucky as if we had waited another 24 hours it would have been a different story. Lacey spent 4 days in hospital and is now insulin dependent, taking insulin several times throughout the day and night to keep her alive. Three months after Lacey's diagnosis her nan took ill ( my mum ) and after a long 4 months of tests and examinations she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and given 6 months to live. Lacey's nan was a fighter and outlived her prognosis and lasted 21 months but sadly passed away 2 weeks ago - 29.11.18.
