Biography

Jaine was diagnosed with early onset infantile scoliosis at 10 months old. She was placed in a full body cast at 1 and wore this 23 hours a day until she was 4. At 4 she got her 1st set of magec rods, 10 hours of surgery and 6 weeks recovery. These rods failed twice and had to be repaired, they were then replaced with a new set at 7. These also failed and were removed completely at 8. This set gave Jaine a massive bone infection for which she had 6 weeks of intensive antibiotics.
Jaine is now back in a body brace to give her body some time to recover from so many surgeries in such a short space of time. She's finding things tough and is very emotional much of the time. Her school work has suffered as she's had so much time off. She needs a cheer up and loves snuggling on the sofa, her own blanket made especially for her would make her day.
