Biography

At 9 days old Thomas had meningitis and was very ill in hospital. He also wouldn’t put on weight and had a lot of issues when it came to feeding and being sick. When he was 2 years old he finally got a gastrostomy button and fundopliction. This seemed to help but he started having problems over night with oxygen levels which resulted in a bi-pap ventilator machine for over night. He has spent a lot of time in and out of hospital and is currently in hospital, and has been for 3.5 years due to a spinal cord injury with paralysis from the neck down. He's had a lot of operations throughout this time in hospital. He's had a tracheostomy and ventilator and I'm here with him always. We are just waiting on a care package to get him home.
