Biography

Finley was born at 37 weeks after a horrible pregnancy. He started to show signs of delay when he was a few months old. He didn’t sit up until he was 14 months and didn’t walk until he was 2 and a half. He is still non verbal now aged 4 and a half and he has been given a space in a specialised nursery where we have deferred him a year to help him try catch up.

He is a extremely happy smiley little boy who loves his little world that he is in. He knows all his shapes and numbers and colours and is so very clever when it comes to shape sorters and flash cards. He harms himself a lot when frustrated by biting, headbanging and scratching and has regular meltdowns because he struggles with understanding the world around him. He loves to be outdoors and will bounce instead of walk.
