Biography

George was born in 2012 and seemed healthy until a few weeks in they noticed he wasn`t meeting milestones. He had bloods taken which came back that George has Mecp2 as well as Marcus Gunn syndrome. He`s also nonverbal and he's had a lot of chest infections as due to the mecp2 he has an unsafe swallow and has to have everything thickened. He was diagnosed with epilepsy in February of this year. He's had a rough year with it with lots of seizures. We are still trying to get the the medication to the right dose to try and control these.

George has spent all of his life in and out of hospital with many stays between the Royal Brompton Hospital London and Royal Surrey at Guildford but he smiles through this.
