Biography

Ryan was born seemingly a healthy baby but when he reached 2 he was delayed in walking and talking. After various tests and procedures he was diagnosed on his 4th Birthday with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. There is no cure and by 8 he would probably be in a wheelchair.

I have fought so hard to find different treatments for him, and give him the best life possible. He is now 13 and has spent 6 years on a medical trial to try and slow down his condition. He’s spent so much time in hospital but he tries to so hard to keep smiling and be happy. He’s currently still walking small distances and will keep on fighting to live.
