Biography

Jake was born at term, healthy but a very weak baby. He was late to sit, crawl and walk. He was non-verbal until around age 8, he still struggles to effectively communicate, and he struggles to regulate his emotions. He tires and fatigues very easily. He has had a number of surgeries, and has struggled to find a school able to meet his needs.

He was finally diagnosed via the genetic DDD study when he was 10 years old. It was only identified 2018 and is an extremely rare syndrome. He is very loving and adores bowling, swimming, Paw Patrol and Justin’s house.
