Biography

Elliot was born and all seemed okay until his day 5 weigh-in when the midwife informed us he had dropped 12% of his birth weight. We were sent up to the local hospital. He was so poorly and lethargic for a day and half, we were at the local hospital and no doctor could figure out what was wrong with him. They phoned Alder Hey Children's Hospital for advice and Elliot was transferred straight to their HDU. The next we got the diagnosis of ckd along with other kidney related illnesses.

For nearly 4 years Elliot has been end stage 4 kidney failure. He is fed through a mic-key button by pump. He has constant hospital visits and stays but nothing ever gets him down. He always has a happy little smiley face which will brighten anyone's day.
