Biography

Sterling is a very energetic little boy who is always running around and playing. He loves superheroes and pandas.

In June 2021 Sterling became very poorly with tiredness and nose bleeds. He started not wanting to go to school and being very quiet. He deteriorated very quickly within a week and we decided to speak to a doctor. We were sent to hospital for tests. Within an hour we were told that Sterling had blood cancer. We were completely shocked, it was devastating and terrifying.

He had to start chemotherapy straight away and was in hospital for about 4 weeks, then treatment at home for the next 3 years. The first 6 months were very hard. We are now in maintenance. Sterling has coped amazingly for a 4 year old. We are looking forwards to the end of treatment and pray everything continues as planned.
