Biography

Myles was born in 2019. We had our 1st ever Christmas that year and he was such a dream. Over the next few months Myles began to go off his food & milk, became pale and very lethargic and irritable which wasn't like him at all. We took it upon our instincts to get some medical advice which to our amazement brought our world crashing down. "Your child has cancer and we are 99% certain it's a form of leukaemia."

From that point forward our lives were changed forever. From a number of blood tests, lumbar punctures, blood transfusions, platelet transfusions, anaesthetics, tests the list goes on. We began our long journey of hospital life living in Noah's Ark Children's Hospital for a number of months to begin with.

After 8 long months in hospital living by Myles' side we were allowed home in November 2020 to begin administering treatment in the comfort of our own home. Fast forward to today 01/01/2022 we now have a thriving 2 year old who is developing as we'd hoped, walking and talking whilst still taking chemotherapy every day until his end of treatment date in May.
