Biography

J A was born prematurely at 24 wks. J A had two severe bleeds on the brain resulting in end of life each time. She spent the first 6 months in hospital having heart surgery and remains on oxygen to this day. J A came into our care in 2019.

Over the last two years J A has had several admissions with various illnesses with her breathing and remains under various consultants.

J A is non-mobile and non-verbal but enjoys looking at books and loves her comforter. We are noticing very small changes and J A is reaching some of her milestones. She has recently had an MRI and we are awaiting the results to see if she has cerebral palsy, FAS and ASD. J A has physio on a weekly basis and gets very tired after it so the quilt would be a valuable asset for her.
