BiographyC was born 6wks premature and struggled with breathing and feeding issues for a few weeks. She was initially NG fed but ended up requiring NJ feeding.
We met C when she was just 6 months old and weighed less than 5kg. She came home to us having spent her first 6 months exclusively in hospital.
In July this year, C had surgery to place a Gastrostomy button and is currently in the early stages of transitioning onto blended diet due to significant volumes of gastric losses. She still requires overnight NJ feed though.
C has very low muscle tone and significant developmental delay in her gross motor skills. However, she is a happy, feisty little girl and is a complete joy to love!
