Biography

Lilyana was the perfect little girl from the minute she was born until the year of her 5th birthday when she became extremely tired all the time. All tests came back inconclusive until she had a bone marrow biopsy which confirmed leukaemia. Lilyana has had a rough treatment journey so far dealing with dangerously low and high blood sugars, countless infections and low blood counts. This has lead to treatment holds but she has managed to keep her character and witty humour.

Lilyana loves animals and wants to either be a vet or zoo keeper when she's older. She's counting down the day until her treatment ends and says she can't wait to have deep baths and go on holiday on a plane.

Mum has been by Lilyana's side every day from birth and continues to be throughout the difficult time of treatment, even shaving her head in support of Lilyana when she lost her hair.

Lilyana is a very special little lady with an enthusiastic passion for life and a positive outlook regardless of the struggles she's faced.
