BiographyGracie was born a healthy baby full of the best smiles! The first three years of her life were completely normal, she was just your regular sassy three year old.
When she was three and a half I noticed her making some strange movements. I took her to the hospital a number of times but was turned away. One night I woke up to find her having a massive seizure at 5am. It hit us like a storm, hundreds of seizures a day for the next two years, multiple failed drugs and specific diets to try and stop the seizures.
In July 2023 Gracie had an operation to insert a VNS - it’s like a pacemaker for the brain. She has been so brave throughout all of this and still has the best smile.
