D is a typical little boy , he is enjoying playing with cars and learning animals at the moment. His favourite book is Each Peach Pear Plum, and he enjoys In the Night Garden.

Biography

D is a beautiful little boy who was born with a cleft palate and Pierre Robin sequence. He spent 5 weeks in nicu before coming home. Unfortunately during his time in nicu he developed breathing problems which resulted in him having a nasopharyngeal airway inserted. D has suffered with problems eating and has an unsafe swallow. He's had a nasogastric tube since birth which has recently been changed to a gastrojejunostomy. We've had a number of stays in hospital this last two months due to feeding complications.

D's development is delayed and he is still unable to sit independently but he continues to work hard with practising. He's a delightful and happy little boy.
