Light greens, purples are her favourites - she adores woodland themes!

Recently she has taken a major interest is the programme Bluey (or blue-ohh as she says!)

She also likes frogs!

Biography

Arabella was born a seemingly healthy little girl by c section at 39 weeks.

We soon noticed she kept turning a “blue” colour but were advised this was normal and she was fine. She was having trouble feeding, and kept falling asleep at the breast within a minute or two. It would then take 45 minutes to an hour to get her to wake up. Different medical professionals assured us she was fine.

At 12 days old we finally found a health visitor and a GP who took our concerns seriously, and sent us to A&E where she deteriorated very quickly. She was 12 days old at this point.

We were rushed to the Freeman hospital where she was stabilised and scanned and found to have a total of five heart defects. They kept her alive for 6 days until she was stable enough to have a stent inserted.

After another two weeks in hospital, she was allowed home on many medications and they planned her open heart surgery for around 6 months.

She was in and out of hospital until 13 weeks, when they realised her tiny heart was struggling too much and did her open heart surgery on 2nd June 2025.

She spent a further month in hospital after setbacks with her recovery.
