Thank youThank you, thank you, thank you, thank you and a million more thank you's. Harrison absolutely loves his amazing quilt. He welled up with happy tears and was so thrilled. He has asked the names and locations of every stitcher, and I explained about his quilter too. He has gone to sleep snuggled under it and telling me how happy it's making him. He has planned to take it on any holidays, and of course whenever he's in hospital. He has asked all about it and was so amazed that it's completely unique, that you all knew all about his story so far, and his likes and interests and that you stitched it specially for him. The fact that there's no other like it has made him feel so special. Love Quilts as a collective are just the most incredible group of people, I am so truly grateful, thank you infinitely.

BiographyHarrison has had a complicated life, full of periods of severe ill health, long stays in hospital, many, many operations, and medical trauma. His condition is life threatening, no one can be sure if it's life limiting as they simply don't know. We have to manage things as they come up, because we can't predict them.
We're currently in Birmingham childrens hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery at midnight last Friday, he is on the long slow road to recovery as we speak. No one could tell us about this, but we always know anything can happen at any time with him, so we make the most of every day that we can. He recently learnt to eat, having been tube fed his entire life, he's currently unable to since the surgery and is reliant on a special, but very risky type of feed called PN, which goes directly into your bloodstream through a special, surgically placed line.
