Thank you

DD's quilt arrived today.
He loves it (well we all do)!
Thank you so, so much to all the wonderful stitchers and quilter for your selfless time, kindness and love and so perfectly made too.
You restore my faith in humanity.
As there were 14 individuals involved in the actual making of it I will pay it forward doing 14 random acts of kindness over the next few weeks.
Much love in return xx

Biography

DD came to live with us as a foster baby at 4 days old. From birth he was a 'grunty' baby and continued to struggle with breathing, sleeping and eating, with 4 stays in hospital until his adenoids were removed at 18 months.
We formally adopted him at 2.5 years old.
He has symptoms simular to ADHD and ASD that means he struggles all the time with emotional, social and behavioural limitations. He has always found school a major challenge and has just been awarded his EHCP and full time classroom support.
He is a delightful little boy who is often very saddened by his lack of friends and social skills.
