Thank you

Thank you so much for Jack's incredibly amazing quilt. It is absolutely superb and we (Mum and Dad) feel very touched by the amount of love and hard work that has gone into making it.

As you can see from the photos, Jack loves it, and his sister Darcey and the cat do too!

Please pass on our thanks to everyone involved. You have made a family feel very special.

Warmest wishes

Biography

Jack had a normal birth and, as first time parents, we were oblivious to his delayed development. When he was 4 months old and started having spasms we went to hospital and an MRI scan revealed he had a smooth brain, diagnosed as isolated lissencephaly sequence.

He is now 11 years old, yet his abilities are akin to a 3 month old. In addition to global development delay, he suffers from difficult to control epilepsy. He has also developed scoliosis.

Jack is a happy, contented, loving young man and we celebrate his heartwarming smiles and fun giggles.
