The girls' quilts have arrived and they are both over the moon with them (Khalen got his quilt over a year ago but wanted to show how amazing it still is) I have an extremely happy household today, thank you so much to each and every person who stitched a square and huge thanks to Leanda for quilting, you guys are all so amazing xxx

Biography

Lauryce is a lovely young lady who has just turned 16, she has had a healthy and settled childhood, then when she was about 12 years old she started struggling to make and maintain friendships, she started having difficulty in joining in with the different activities that she had been used to doing such as guides and dance. It seemed almost overnight that the happy smiley girl that we had known had disappeared. She was diagnosed by her GP in 2018 with social and general anxiety, she is working with her GP and a brilliant counsellor to try to get to the root of her problems.

She has good days and bad days, she has days when she is almost the carefree girl she once was and then she has days where she can barely drag herself out of her bedroom. She has and still does battle every day with anxiety, but she is the most thoughtful and caring person and loves to make others smile.
