Biography

Desteni was diagnosed in 2016 when she was 1 year old. I took her to the doctor's as she had bruises on her back. They phoned the ambulance and the hospital confirmed it was leukaemia. We were rushed to Heath hospital where we spent 6 weeks in hospital over Xmas and New Years away for her sister.

And from that we spent 2 and a half years in and out of hospitals from small things like chicken pox to huge things like sepsis. She then rang the bell in April 2019. She’s doing amazing but the treatment has left her with lasting problems.
