Thank you

I just want to say from the bottom of my heart thank you so so so much for Jace's quilt, it arrived today and is beyond anything I could have imagined.

Jace was amazed by it from the minute he got him (and so was his brother) he's loved seeing all the different vehicles and colours and couldn't believe dada's car was on there too!

I tried to get a picture but he wouldn't sit still ha! So here's one of them both on it just loving it!

Biography

I found out when I was 32 weeks pregnant with my son that there were some severe abnormalities with his brain. We were told by law we had every right to terminate but after 3 years of infertility there was simply no way we could have done it. I ended up being induced so there was enough medical assistance on standby and in the end I needed an emergency c-section as his heart rate dropped. He needed a bit of oxygen and was taken to special care for a precaution, but he defied all odds the doctors prepared us for.

Growing up it was obvious he was delayed. He didn’t roll over until 10 months, couldn’t sit un-aided until 18 months and didn’t crawl until he was nearly 3. He has learned a few Makaton signs which have helped him massively and his words are now coming on stronger and stronger. He still struggles to communicate certain things which he gets upset and frustrated over but we are trying to help as much as possible.

He is a wheelchair user currently when he is unable to walk but we are hoping with selective Botox in his hamstrings in the near future he could be up walking in a few years. He is in his first year of school now and absolutely adores it there and has come on so far with all their help and support. But overall he is just the happiest boy ever. Everyone just loves his smiles and cheeky attitude and he wins many hearts. We are so beyond proud of him and I couldn't ask for a better son
