Thank you to the quilters and all the stitchers who have worked so hard on these quilts :) Erin who received a quilt from us in January 2012 is in hospital at the moment, we received this photo of her:  We have also heard that Tyler Lee and Finley G have had a difficult week and we send our best wishes to all LQ children who are in hospital at the moment. Emergency Quilt New quilter Gill has completed this quilt with squares from our 2011 Hearts Stitch-a-long. We will keep this quilt in stock until needed - thank you very much Gill. Her mum Ruth found out 2 weeks ago she had won, so they went down to a posh 'do' in London this week and she was presented with an award plaque and a teddy bear. Well done, Skye! We send our deepest condolences to his mother Angela. We understand that Joshua's quilt is to be buried with him. Rest in peace, Joshua x Emily B has been very ill in hospital over the last couple of weeks, and it was decided to send her an emergency quilt. This was a quilt made with squares from the Hearts Stitch-a-long. We understand that Emily is doing better now, but is still in hospital. We had this news about Jayden C: Just a little post to say Jayden adores his quilt it's just so beautiful everyone we show it too is in awe with it thank you all very much again x Leroy and his mum Catherine appeared on the BBC 6 o'clock news last week in connection with an adoption story. Congrats to you guys on your national fame! Caitlin F has been in hospital lately having treatment for leukaemia - we wish her a swift recovery. x Square News We have received 32 squares this week! Gaynor's friend in New York (Abby) has kindly agreed that Gaynor can have fabric shipped to her flat, ready for Gaynor to pick up when she visits at Easter. A little tower of boxes has already formed in Abby's flat! |
