Thank you all for your contributions to these quilts, it is really appreciated and has created a lot of happy smiles! Gaynor's travels Gaynor has been to Lincolnshire to see Kat and hand over the fabric for the scheduled quilts up to the end of August. Gaynor and Kat also got quite a lot of sets of Any Child squares together for future Backfilled/Emergency Quilts. Here we are with Kat's parrot too!  Gaynor has also visited the wholesaler for our plain fabrics in High Wycombe in person and picked up some of the bolts below for use with future quilts. This is only made possible by your donations - thank you very much!  Fundraising Leanda, Heather and Nessa have been very hard at work making lap-quilts, bags and other items for sale at their fayre and on eBay and raised the splendid sum of £386.36. Thank you so much to you ladies for your excellent efforts! Susan Miller's office (Sports and Social club) have also been hard at work! Susan made some lanyards at Christmas and sold them to staff, raising £184.00. Thank you so much, Susan! Any Child Squares - priority of theme A few months ago, we added "High Priority" and "Low Priority" to some of the categories on our "Any Child" page. There have been a number of conversations on our Facebook group about this, and following this, we have decided to revamp the page to make it even clearer for stitchers, to give some ideas about each category and suitable colours. It's in everyone's interests that we are stitching squares that are going to be used up quickly, after all! Please have a look at the page - Any Child Squares - we hope this will be helpful to you! Kaye in Northern Ireland This is a message for Kaye S in Northern Ireland! Kaye has stitched many lovely squares for us dating back to 2013, but as they've all been for Any Child, we haven't been able to email her our thanks, or let her know when her squares go on a quilt by email. If you are reading, Kaye, please send us your email address. (Or if you prefer to remain anonymous, that's fine too - thank you for your support either way!) Fundraising Many thanks to Kim Lawrence for £29.70 which was raised during January and Febraury from the sale of stamps which have been kindly donated by customers that use her greetings card shop and local businesses from her village smile. Sophie and Alice Bloodworth have had the money in from their fundraiser scavenger hunt and it is over £100 - thank you very much to you both!
